Zero Squared #128: Antisemitism as a Symptom of Capitalism

Moishe Postone is a Western Marxist and a Professor of History at the University of Chicago and he is the author of the book Time, Labor and Social Domination a book that won the American Sociological Association’s prize in theory. Postone is the guest on this podcast and he discusses an essay he wrote entitled Anti-Semitism and National Socialism.

If you’re looking for a book to help you understand late capitalism pick up Anselm Jappe’s The Writing on the Wall which is a collection that brings an understanding of Marx’s Value Theory to bear on political questions, Terry Tapp’s A Serf’s Journal which tells the story of the longest wildcat strike in US history, and, of course, Angela Nagle’s Kill All Normies which is turning out to be a great conversation piece.
